Note to the Florida Pagan Community
It was never my plan to reside in Florida. When we lost our renter at a home we own in Port St. Lucie Florida we simply moved in on a temporary basis. As we prepare to move on, I have a sense of deep appreciation for the Florida Pagan Community and the way they embraced these wayward travelers.
It has been my honor to attend rituals in homes, festivals around the state and engage in social justice actions in support of Pagan rights during my time living here. Arriving as an "unknown" the community embraced both myself and my partner. In allowing me to speak for Pagan rights in the state the community placed an incredible amount of trust in my hands. I am humbled by such trust and hope that my efforts lived up to the expectations of the community.
The Florida Pagan Gathering, Everglades Moon Local Council of CoG and the Pahokee Summer Solstice Festival are examples of great organizations that it has been my privilege to participate with during my time in Florida. Add to this the dozens of individuals who have embraced me as part of the local community and you can see why I am so humbled by this vibrant community.
As we prepare to move to Colorado I just wanted to express my gratitude, love and respect for my brother and sisters in Florida. You will be missed!
